She was born in 2007 and began her piano studies at the age of four. His talent arose when, at the age of five, she passed extremely competitive tests to enter the Moscow State Conservatory, where she is currently studying with renowned teacher M. Marchenko.
She has been awarded at the Vladimir Krainev International Piano Competition in Moscow, the Astana International Competition and the International Television Competition "The Nutcracker". In 2018, when she was not yet 11 years old, she gained world fame by winning the Grand Prize of the II International Piano Competition for young pianists in Moscow.
Despite her young age, she has already made her debut in some of the most prestigious concert halls. In 2018, she inaugurated the Mariinsky International Piano Festival with D. Matsuev and V. Gergiev. In 2019, she made her first appearance at the Philharmonie in Berlin and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. That same year, the young pianist impressed critics and audiences with a highly acclaimed performance at the Salzburg Festival, culminating the year with a triumphant recital at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris. In 2020, Dovgan returned to Salzburg to play with the Mozarteum Orchestra under the direction of T. Pinnock, in Ljubljana with Slovenska Filharmonija and P. von Steinaecker, and in Lugano with the Svirezza Italiana Orchestra conducted by F. Leleux.
Her major engagements in 2021 include recitals at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Boulez Saal in Berlin, the Prinzregententheater in Munich, the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, the Tonhalle in Zurich, as well as performances in Basel, Milan and Copenhagen. She will also perform with the T. Koopman's Stockholm Philharmonic, and with the Basel Chamber Orchestra with U. Benedetti Michelangeli.
