Born in Barcelona, she began her musical studies at the Barcelona Conservatory of Music, where she obtained the Higher Degrees in Harmony, Composition and Instrumentation, and Orchestral Conducting with Josep Soler and Salvador Mas respectively. She also completed the Higher Degree in Pedagogy in the specialty of choral conducting, obtaining the highest grades.
In the field of choral conducting she has worked with S. Johnson, L. Heltay, J. Prats, P. Cao, H. Rilling and F. Bernius, G. Hollerung and J. Frihsmund, among others. At the same time, she has always continued her singing studies which she furthered with H. Wojnarowsky and T. Bugaj at the Friederich Chopin Academy in Warsaw.
She has focused her work on teaching choral conducting and vocal work with children and young people. She has been teaching for 25 years, specially at Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu and Escolania de Montserrat.
Conducting training in children's choral singing has been one of the areas she has deepened and developed the most. For this reason she is regularly invited to teach courses and workshops around the world (Europe, Asia and Latin America). She has been the artistic and musical director of Opera a Secundària for 15 years, and also co-director of the Cantània program of the L'Auditori de Barcelona Educational Project.
For 17 years she has been the musical director of the Children's Choir of the Orfeó Català, Palau de la Música Catalana. Currently, and for more than twenty years, she has been conducting the Sant Cugat Children's Choir, where she also carries out pedagogical work within the framework of Aula de So, the Voxalba women's choir, and since the 2013-2014 season she has been the artistic director of the choir Lieder Càmera de Sabadell.
