Javier Perianes' international career has led him to perform in the most prestigious concert halls in the world and with the main orchestras. He has collaborated with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Charles Dutoit, Zubin Mehta, Gustavo Dudamel, Yuri Temirkanov, Gianandrea Noseda, Vladimir Jurowski, Gustavo Gimeno, Simone Young, Juanjo Mena and Klaus Mäkelä. He has participated in festivals such as the BBC Proms, Lucerne, La Roque d'Anthéron, Prague Spring, Granada, Vail, Blossom and Ravinia. He received the National Music Award 2012 and Artist of the Year 2019 by ICMA.
The 2020-2021 season includes debuts with the London Symphony Orchestra, Tonhalle Zürich, Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Aurora Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic and the NHK Symphony Orchestra, as well as his return with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Cincinnatti Symphony Orchestra, the Lille National Orchestra, the Aalborg Symfoniorkester and the Spanish National Orchestra.
Exclusive artist of the Harmonia Mundi label, his latest record releases include Ravel's Concerto in G with the Paris Orchestra and Josep Pons, together with Tombeau de Couperin and Alborada del Gracioso; i Cantilena, an album with violist Tabea Zimmermann that includes a selection of Spanish and Latin American works.
