Marta Gil
BIOGRAPHY
Marta Gil has a degree in stage direction and drama by Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and by the Theaterakademie (University of Hamburg).
She has directed Our daily death by Manuel de Pedrolo at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. He is a member of the European Drama Group. He has directed classical and contemporary texts in German public theaters (Cologne, Oldenburg, Hamburg, Berlin): from Shakespeare to Lars Norén.
She was nominated for the Rolf-Mares Preis for Chance by Jerzy Kosinsky to the Hamburger Sprechwerk. With Eileen Shakespeare by Fabrice Melquiot, Tantarantana Theater production, she won the second prize in the Contest of Stage Directors of Torrejón de Ardoz. She has directed and co-written with Albert Tola two psychoanalytic creations around the figure of Michael Jackson Més enllà dels estels and Èdip rei del pop(Oedipus king of pop), released in Temporada Alta 2010. She works as a theater pedagogue with teachers and high school students in public and private schools.
