Pinchas Zukerman
BIOGRAPHY
With more than 100 albums, two Grammy® awards and 21 nominations, Pinchas Zukerman has been a phenomenon in the music world for over four decades. He has received the National Medal of the Arts from President Ronald Reagan and the Isaac Stern Award for Artistic Excellence in Classical Music.
In the 21-22 season, highlights are the performances with the Israel Philharmonic, the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Lyon National Orchestra, the Valencia Orchestra and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in New York. With the Zukerman Trio, he will visit the Ravinia, Aspen and Amelia Island festivals, as well as Parlance Chamber Concerts in New Jersey and the Universities of Washington and Lee in Lexington, Virginia. With Amanda Forsyth he will perform with the MAV Budapest Symphony Orchestra, the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Reading Symphonies and New Bedford. They will also be touring in November with the Jerusalem String Quartet in the United States and Canada.
Recent engagements include tours with the Vienna Philharmonic and the Royal London Philharmonic, as well as concerts with the Boston, Dallas and Prague Symphonies, the Berlin Staatskapelle and the Israel Philharmonic.
