Toxic love is a pandemic that romantic songs have helped spread from generation to generation. Until now, when we have opened our eyes –sometimes wide open in horror– to lyrics that we have sung all our lives and that, in the light of the 21st century, we now see as perpetrators of violence. Is it possible to separate the author from the work? And the lyrics from the music? Hidden Track and Radio Primavera Sound address the issue in this Amor Odi Radioshow, commissioned by L’Auditori for the Sit Back season, a musical performance with a feminist and LGBTIQ+ discourse and with a cast as eclectic and diverse as the setlist of versions.
