Repertoire
L'Auditori premieres OFFSTAGE, a new audiovisual project of in-depth interviews. In this first season OFFSTAGE focuses on the composers who premiere works this season at L'Auditori. Bernat Vivancos, Joan Magrané, Enric Palomar and Raquel García Tomás star in the first four chapters. Journalist Anna Guitart is the host of the interviews that reveal the most personal facets and artistic concerns of the most stimulating composers of the current scene.
In this fourth and final chapter we talk to Raquel García Tomás (Barcelona, 1984) from her grandparents' summer house in Cunit, a place where she often went as a child and which allowed her to escape the noise of Barcelona and connect with herself. National Music Prize (2020), the work of García Tomás connects us with reality, more or less abstract. It deals with today sounds, picks up the sound imaginary with or without social implications and makes us understand the moment we are living.
