EDUARD TOLDRÀ: Nocturne of Sea views (1920) - Premiere of the 3D video
The Toldrà quartet, whose subtitle is Poetic evocations, is inspired by poetry The broom by Joan Maragall and premiered on May 31, 1921 at the Palau de la Música Catalana. This version recorded in 3D audiovisual format gives a fully harmonious reading in relation to the context where it has been interpreted from a piece that is part of the usual repertoire of Catalan string quartets and is presented as a portico the Barcelona Quartet Biennial in a action that also wants to be a recognition of the figure of Toldrà, one of the most important of the Catalan musical heritage coinciding with the year of the 125th anniversary of his birth (1895 - 1962).
